Dr. Poulos was born and raised in Fairview Park, OH and has had a passion for Optometry since childhood. He recieved his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 1994. After caring for patients in an Ophthalmology practice for two years, Dr. Poulos began subleasing with LensCrafters in Strongsville, OH in 1996. In 2008, he and Dr. Scott Caleodis founded Tuttle and Sawmill Eye Associates.
Dr. Poulos’ long affilation with LensCrafters began in 1988, when he worked in the optical lab manufacturing eyeglasses while attending Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He has traveled across the United States to help train Doctors on Digital Eye Examination technology and he has participated in international and domestic humanity missions to provide eye care to those in under-served areas.
In 2012, Dr. Poulos was recognized by Vision Monday Magazine as an Optometric Innovator in Business Management.
He has served on the LensCrafters Optometric Advisory Council since 2008 and in 2014 he was recognized by LensCrafters with The Affiliated Optometrist Of The Year Award.
